Sunday summary from Marial Corona:
Dear Family and Friends,
Hello! We had a wonderful first full day, starting with a packed Sunday Mass at La Cima. Then we divided into four work crews, one for each of the two houses we are building, one for sanding the pews we built last year (which actually didn’t get to start, but helped gather supplies for the houses) and a fourth one to do repairs and upgrades in the auditorium which we use as a mission center. Since we had Mass at 10:00 am we had a late start, but picked up a good pace towards the end of the day. Tomorrow we expect to put the first coat of cement in the houses, and further our projects. We are impressed by the beauty and simplicity of the place, and for the welcome of the people; several kids wanted to play soccer tonight, as they do every night with the missionaries, but we weren’t able to do so, but tomorrow we’re in!
Keep us in your prayers and know you are in ours!
God bless,
Mission Team Puebla 2016
PS – Wifi is not good enough to send pictures, I’ll try tomorrow!
