Marial Corona sent this update late on Saturday night:
Dear Family and Friends,
Greetings from Ahuazotepec! It took a couple hours for our team of 50 missionaries to gather in the Mexico City airport, but we were able to depart around 4:30 pm in order to start our mission in Ahuazotepec, Puebla.
Fr. Daniel Lenz and myself (Marial Corona, I work for Mission Youth and am accompanying the group) stayed in the main town; Fr. Daniel concelebrated Mass and afterwards heard confessions! Everyone else went to La Cima to settle down and have dinner.
We’re ready to start, please keep us in your prayers, that we have good weather and are able to show the love of God to the locals through our work.
